SCHAUMSTEIN garden articles are unique in South Africa. The products are manufactured from rigid closed cell polyurethane foam. The products are very light (density about 5% of that of concrete) which simplifies the handling and logistics of the products.
Our Product
Schaumstein products:
- Are UV resistant and can be used Indoors and Outdoors;
- Are paintable - It can be successfully painted with acrylic PVA in any favourite colour;
- Are water resistant - the material does not absorb any water and is water tight;
- Offers good insulation which results in a more constant temperature at the plant roots;
- Are very light weight for easy handling and transport;
- Are very durable - The combination of toughness and light weight causes products to be virtually unbreakable with normal handling.

SCHAUMSTEIN se tuinartikels is uniek in Suid-Afrika. Die produkte word vervaardig van rigiede geslote sel Poli-uretaan skuim. Die produkte is baie lig en vergemaklik die hantering en logistiek daarvan. (Die digtheid ongeveer 5% van dié van beton.)

- Is verfbaar - Dit kan suksesvol met akriel PVA geverf word in enige gunsteling kleur;
- Is waterbestand - die materiaal absorbeer geen water nie en is waterdig;
- Bied goeie isolasie en handhaaf dus 'n meer konstante temperatuur by plantwortels;
- Is uiters liggewig vir maklike hantering en vervoer;
- Is baie duursaam - Die kombinasie van taaiheid en liggewig maak produkte byna onbreekbaar met gewone hantering.
